bluekkiwi
This is the love of my life Raine E Bird. she is a green cheek conure aka a snuggle monster! She is just the most wonderful companion, and has so much character!! I am getting a new grey soon and I am worried that my baby will change. Any tips on how to help her be okay with the new baby? I know that I should be careful to greet her first, and give her out of cage time first, but is there anything else that I should be doing to get her ready? Thanks in advance!

Post edited by: bluekkiwi, at: 2008/11/05 07:

Tycos_mom
I have a green cheeked conure and he hasn't changed a bit since I got Tyco he's still a little cuddle monster still loves to play and fly to me constantly still is the biggest clown in the house I wouldn't worry just make sure that you keep them apart don't put their cages to close together Greencheek conure think they can take on anything and you don't want to see him get hurt because he gets up in your new Greys face and trys to pick a fight. judygram
I echo Pat's comments, I have a sun conure who is just about like Sprout, she is cuddly and thinks she can take on anything, I just keep her away from my grey, those conures can be a little feisty when they want to. I don't see you having a problem with them as long as you keep a little distance between them and I got my conure before I got my grey and she is still the same bird as she was before the grey came along.
