cfc1608
Is it safe to give my AG sticks from my yard to chew on? He loves to chew on straws and the wrappers but I have tons of sticks in my yard that I could be giving him. Is this safe if I clean them with dishsoap or do I need something else. Thanks. Guest Monique
It is safe as long as ... 1) Safe type of tree (google there are some good lists) 2) No pesticides or other treatments 3) They are clean And (obviously) MUCH cheaper than the purchased chewies!!!! Sorry about my spelling,im in a bit of a rush because i have to et chico out and he is talking to him self(he can not talk yet so its a little baby vocie nattaring to himself). rickster
I would like to build my bird a jungle gym out of yard sticks.are oak/pine/chestnut and such limbs ok for our birds? I would really like to build him a nice playground and few nuts bolts and washers would be inexpensive. Thanks

judygram
Please do not use any zinc nuts and bolts, they are very hazardous for greys. Rickster I would like to see your finished product too, in fact we all would, a picture would be very appreciated.
