pyrowaves
I haven't seen this question asked on here. forgive if it has been. Was going to shop for some pans for my mom when I give her Sassy. I know currently she has non-stick cookie sheets. I couldn't find any non coated ones except ones that are "Tin plated" are these ok to use? Kaedyn
If you absolutely need something non-stick, you should look for cookie sheets by Baker's Secret. They are silicone coated and considered safe. Tin won't give off any dangerous fumes, so it should be perfectly safe to cook with around your birds. Just don't allow them to come in contact with the tin sheets, since it can cause heavy metal toxicity. Another alternative is aluminum. It should be safe all around.

Post edited by: Kaedyn, at: 2008/11/04 04:
pyrowaves
I'm not worried about the NOn stick. I was just looking for something that was non stick. the only thing they had was this tin coated stuff.
