Anmlhggr
I thought that this might be a fun thread if ya'll can get into it I know I'm a bird person because... 1) I got poop in my hair today and just laughed. 2) I greet the birds before the boyfriend. 3) I request off work to go to bird shows. 4) My entire Christmas list is bird toys. ..........What makes you a bird person? SweetFX
I was always an animal person but I always wanted a bird. So when my husband agreed to get a small one, we got or first sun conure. That is when I learned the love a bird can give and now I just want more of them...all kinds. When I lost my sun and he past away ..feeling that much hurt was overwhelming. I realized I needed to love another bird, I just could not be without the squak in the morning...the kisses...the love. I love buying them toys as much as for the dogs. People think I am nuts for spending so much on them. They dont understnd you provide them with a happy life and they return with happyness towards you. EFGriffith
I know I'm a bird person because... I'm okay with a companion who only poops on me sometimes, just occasionally screeches me awake, and bites but at least never breaks the skin! =)
Janfromboone
I get a bigger kick out of Tobie's sense of humor and his interactions with me than my human friends. I get tired of them and have to go home to get away, but I never feel that way about Tobie. Also, while I like the pretty things I have (furniture, ear rings etc) I some how cant get mad if Tobie accidently damages them. My husband is another matter. danmcq
You want to enclose your entire property using telephone poles and netting like some of the zoos for avian adventures.:woohoo:
casper
I arrange my social life around the birds! I walk round covered in bird poop! I find myself talking and whistling all day! I plan my birds meals before the rest of the family!
Lyric
The birds eat better than we do... The only thing I want for Christmas is a tree stand for my bird. My boyfriend is always asking me "What?" and gets the standard answer, "I was talking to the birds/dogs..." My life for the next 4 months will revolve around feeding baby birds... Janfromboone
I've got another one. I catch myself at work going "Ba-ba-ba- baaaa-baaaa". Thats how Tobie sings lately. Someone asked me "what are you doing" and I couldn't answer because the answer was too silly. Casper's post reminded me of that.
