Lynette,

It is something your grey will definetly learn over time. He is still really young and will have to learn co-ordination and balance.

My youngest is 22 weeks and has just learned how to balance properly to eat his sugar snaps or hold any toys.

I can see the difference between all my greys who are different ages. Its all down to experience and learning which he will soon do.

Caroline is right, at 15 weeks of age, Skye has not been perching for that long a period of time, young greys are not as agile and sure footed at that age as they will be when they are a little older. He probably doesn't feel secure enough to stand on one foot with something in the other, but give him some time and he will be doing it with the best of them.

I also agree that 15 weeks is a bit to young to relaise that he needs to use his feet. Just give it some time and he will know what to do
