RyannsGreys
So After candling... we found our eggies weren't fertile. I decided to let myrtle sit for another day. So, the next morning, I opened the next box and found a third egg. Layed 13 days after the 1st egg. And 10 days after the second. We disposed of the older two and she is sitting on the third one! We're hopefull...
siobha9
Oh that is very sad. Maybe this third one will be fertile! I hope you will be giving us an update soon that you are to be a grandma;)
Lyric
Keep your hopes up, my pairs have both laid a clutch of infertile eggs and then the next clutch was successful. Sometimes it takes a little practice for them to get everything right. You may want to let her sit the allotted time on this egg even if it isn't fertile to give her a little break from laying. Making eggs is hard on a female bird and she deserves a little break!
