amazon parrot abused

:angry: M y husband went a visit to see his so called friend a couple of years ago and came home upset and then he told my why they had a amazon parrot to which was being abused they grabbed her when they were drunk etc.So guess what we have her now her name is Charlie and she is a screamer and not hand tame at all,it has took us a long time to get her where she is today,unfortunately she does have a problem 3xmas's ago she took no well coughing sneezing shortness of breath we thought it was asthma but it is not she has aspergellious disease we do not know how long she has but what life she has got is a loving parrents looking after her well fed,bath every day etc. I am so happy for her now but it gets me so angry that people buy these birds and do not know anything about them.At least she is well cared for and loved everyday by us.The previous owner's said they knew she had a cough and shortness of breath but did nothing about it but we did thank god.

well im glad you were able to save her from that lif and give her the best life even if it means it may be cut short, all the best with her
