kimmyrn
Hi. I have a timneh grey approx 5 or 6 yrs old. The past several months she has appeared to be oily all the time. She is not plucking. I have not changed her diet. Any thoughts on why she is so oily looking and what I can do about it. Thx Kim
danmcq
Hi Kimmy - I am not certain what "oily" may look like on your TAG. I am also uncertain why you mentioned she is not plucking. Could you perhaps post a photo of her so we can see what you are taling about? Also, perhaps explain a little more? :-)
BMustee
Are you giving her baths?
Luvparrots
Hi and welcome to the forum. Perhaps if you give a little more background about your grey. How long you have had her and what her diet is. That might help. A picture would be great. Can't wait to hear more about your grey.:cheer:
Tycos_mom
welcome to the forum an African Grey is a powder bird i can't imagine one being oily unless its powder gland is not working the way it should in which case I would take her to he vet and have her looked at do you bath her acouple times a week? I would be concerned if my Grey looked oily also could you post a picture its easy just down load pics to a photobucket account and then copy and paste the img code into your post.
