Problem Breeding Greys

Hello, my name if Armen. I have owned a breeding pair of African Greys for a little over a year. They are 6-7 years old and are a proven pair. They are housed in the same breeding cage that they have lived it in and bred for the previous owner. Their diet is for the most part same as they have had before I purchased them. In the past month on two seperate incidences they have laid one egg, which they have broken within a few days. Would anyone happen to know what the problem might be. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Are you poking around in the box? Many birds will stop nesting if they are disturbed.

Thanks for your response. I'm not really poking around the box. The only time I'm around them is to change the water and feed. However, what do you think about the fact that they are laying only one egg.

Hey Birdman, Dave007 has greys he breeds. Why don't you private message him? He answers alot of the difficult questions for us. Also Danmcq is also a great person to ask. Good luck.
