Training DVD???

I wonder if anyone can give me some tip about any good DVD how to train parrots? Should I get a clicker? What treat to give when she been good? Anything else I may need?

someone said peanuts were a good choice for a treat but limit the amount. i actually use the toddler banana cookies....they're healthy, sugar and sodium free, and cheap, and both of my birds LOVE them....as for a dvd, I just use dora the explorer...and sesame street. I know, I know...not much help...sorry.

I saw an ad on the Internet for bird training. The ad offered a clip showing training using a clicker. I bought a clicker and used it with great success to get my Timneh to step up onto a dowel. I want to use it to get him to stop biting but don't know exactly the procedure to use. A tip from the same guy that has the ad on the internet said to shake your arm or hand that your bird is on if the bird starts to bite, but I'm still a bit scared to try as his bites are hard! Anyway the clicker followed immediately by a reward worked just great to get him to "step up".

I don't know about the guy, I just hate getting junk mail...then the company shares your info and they share it, then before you know it your computers got a bug.
