Luvparrots
How I wish I didn't live a zillion miles away from Orlando. Sounds like so much fun. Post pics for us all to see PLEASE!!! {Feel-good-000200BB}
judygram
Yeah it does sound like fun but Orlando is a long ways away from me too, do they have anything going on the first week of December as I will be there then? Be sure to share some pictures with us afterwards.
djzenjen
I actually think this is the first year they are doing the festival. I don't think it will be held again until OCT of 2009. However, the first Sunday of every month is Parrots in the Park! Bring the flock to Lake Eola for some socializing and fun in the sun! www.parrotsinthepark.com
djzenjen
Bird Festival was fabulous! I uploaded some photos I took today. I wasn't sure where to put them all on here, so I just uploaded them to my Flickr account. siobha9
Beautiful pictures, but I really hate seeing birds outdoors who arent harnessed. It really scares me:S
djzenjen
With all the birds that were there for the festival, we only had one scare. An Amazon got spooked and flew up, but quickly came down about 25 feet from his owner. The rest of the birds were all very well behaved. danmcq
Wow, great photos. That would have been a wonderful event to have attended. They Bald Eagle photos are my favorite, he almost looks like a statue in the first shot. He is obviously very well taken care of. I must say, I was amazed with the number of Parrots not on tethers or harnesses. I great to hear no one lost a bird. Thanks for sharing all these photos. :-)
Trustdace
I wish I would have seen this post sooner because I would have definitely drove to Orlando for this event. The pictures are great! Thank you so much for the post and I'll be planning ahead for Oct. 2009.
