judygram
Congrats Brittany on joining the ranks of grey ownership and I understand about the finances right now but you will get him home soon. In the meantime why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us a little more about you.
LindaMary
Welcome, Brittany! I can identify with the excitement! I had to pay for my birdie over 5 weeks, too - it's great that some breeders/people will let you do that. Will you be visiting your baby while you're waiting? That worked out really well for us - we went in several times a week to see Maxi, and by the time we actually brought her home, she was totally convinced Mary and I were her new mama and sister. Brittany
Hi to both of you!! Yes we will be visiting him(ill just call the bird him) as much as possible. I've been visiting with this particular bird for over a month now probably every other week & I love him! Hes really social. I didnt wanna leave him yesterday when I went to visit. judygram
I know how you feel as I visited with mine during the weaning process and you just do not want to leave them but he will be with you soon so just hang in there. This visiting will help socialize him also and he is also learning to recognize you and your voice.

Lyric
I'm so sorry to hear that. I know you are disappointed, but another bird will come along and steal your heart. I'm assuming you were getting him from a pet store? If you're dealing with a breeder and you make a deposit on the bird they shouldn't sell it to someone else- try finding a good breeder where you live. Hang in there... somewhere a birdie is waiting for you to be his momma...

judygram
Brittany, I am so sorry about the baby grey that was supposed to have been yours, but you will find another, you may have to wait longer but it will be worth it. You never know this may be a blessing in disquise, sometimes when one door closes another one opens, keep an open mind and do look for breeders instead of pet stores.
