liefie1 Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 hi there I recently bought a "cameroon" african grey and it seems to have something like flees i am new in nigeria and can not seem to find a vet or any1 willing to help me, is there any thing i can use to get rid of it?? he is about six weeks old Kind regards:)
lovemyGreys Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 It is very unlikely that a parrot would get fleas, one may jump on the parrot but would not thrive therefore it would jump off or die. They do however get mites which can be mistaken for fleas. It is very important to seek the advice of an avian vet for treatment,you must have some kind of vet able to offer advice ?
