BMustee
Some parrots will fling food, others won't. It's kind of the luck of the draw. If you got a flinger then the only thing to do is buy a good vaccum.

ccabel
thank you all for your info. Everything I read on grays in the wild I thought throwing his food was normal but gets upsetting sometimes.I thought of putting something up at the corner by his food bowl like plexi glass. What do you all think. Plus is there a web site that tells you what type of wood or trees can be used for a perch. thanks again Chris & Harley
NASY
Hi!Ricco has latetly started throwing his food and water also .He likes to play with the water when it splashes. It is a bit difficult because I have to clean his cage more than once.I have a fealing though that this bad habit will go and come depending on his mood .Just be patient, after all he will do what he wants. BMustee
Putting up plexi glass is a good idea. I've been meaning to do the same thing with my finch cages.
