Recommended Posts

Sunday, September 21st is another Bird Expo in Pleasanton, CA. It goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

We went last time and ended up bringing home a Blue Crown conure........I'm going for toys and stuff this time.

I WILL NOT GET ANOTHER BIRD, I WILL NOT GET ANOTHER BIRD! (repeat as necessary, lol)

Is anyone else from here going?

I am on the east coast so no I will not be able to go but wish I could, it sounds like a really big deal and that is what I go to a bird show for is the toys and stuff.

Please post again sometime after the show and tell us if you kep your promise "I WILL NOT GET ANOTHER BIRD"

The show was okay, only about half the vendors as there were in May for some reason. BUT there were 11 greys, including 2 Timnehs. My daughter found at least three she was ready to take home, and I got quite a few names of breeders to talk to next spring when I'm ready to add to our flock. I'm in big trouble :silly: in February when they have the next one....probably can't get away with leaving Pete and Tasha at home though!

Technically, "I" did not buy a bird.......lol, my fiance' did. He's such a softie for the disabled birds......there was a little green cheek that had been born without one eye and he HAD to have her, she's 5 months old and cute as a button, friendly and all she wants is out of her cage to sit on one of us. She looks like she's permanently winking at us...hehe.{Feel-good-00020069}

I did get some pics this time......but there really wasn't that much there. I'll post them later this evening from home.

Have a greyt day!

So you kept your promise LOL to notget another bird but your fiance did, thats so sweet that he has a soft spot for the disabled ones. Where most people would have passed that little bird by because it was not perfect he sees the inner beauty and companionshop she has to offer, he sounds like a keeper Pam.

I look forward to seeing those pictures when you get the chance.
