Feeding Dishes

I am looking for new ideas on grey proof dishes. Liath has successfully mastered the art of undoing the crock lock ones now.

 

If any of you have links or pictures or names of dishes which your mischievious greys can't undo and tip, please let me know;)

Hi I used a dish called quick-lock crock. They are different to the crock lock and Charlie who is a swine for throwing dishes cant undo them I order them from a web site www.24 parrot.com. Hope this helps

They are the ones I am using - I got the name wrong. I bought them at 24parrot too! But Liath has figured out how to twist them and lift them.

 

Tracy those ones look cool. Has anyone ever tried those?

How about the scatterless seed cup from 24 parrot

I have that one and both Liath and Oisin are afraid of it :unsure: They wont go near it so they don't eat when its in the cage. For a grey size it is quite big thing inside the cage.

 

Thank you for your ideas though! Keep them coming. I will find a dish that Liath aka Houdini can't undo.

If your bars are vertical you could try this. its all one piece and the lock is on the outside of the cage. They might make them for horizontal too I'll keep looking.

Ohh actually I found that Bird Paradise carries these too in a larger variety, you might check that out at http://www.mybirdstore.com It's under "Accessories and Cleaning" and then "cups and bowls" Hope this helps!!

FYI I just checked it looks like www.mybirdstore.com will ship to Ireland. Looks like for 1 smart crock shipping to Dublin would be ~$24US on top of the $7.99US for the crock. I would think that they would sell these in Europe too.

I'd have to find a supplier over here. That is $32 for one dish:ohmy: Its a little on the expensive side;) But I will have a hunt I am sure they must sell into Europe as well.
