Broomer Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Take your guess! Sent the tests out today, should take 5-7 buisness days to get our report back. What say you? Male or Female. Few tidbits of info that we've noticed in the first 24 hours. (S)he seems to love to cuddle with Kim. And tends to poop then fall asleep after (s)he eats. So acts male, that's for sure hehe. Let the guessing commence! {Characters-0002005F}.... I'm guessing male. {Characters-0002005D}
judygram Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I seem to favor females, so that is my guess, I have a 50 - 50 chance of being right:laugh: one of these days I will be wrong but not today:whistle:
siobha9 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I hate these games - I'm always wrong Anyways I'm going to say male too, only because you have referred to him as male since he was hatched and I have come to know him as male. It would be weird now to think of him as a she:laugh:
Broomer Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Eh, that's why we named him/her Loki, in the myth Loki could change sex to cause mischeif, so it all works
BMustee Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Yeah, I bet Female. I referred to Elmo as a boy sense I got her. When the DNA came in female she was already saying she was a "good Boy". Elmo is a boys name too, so the running joke at work is that I need to rename her Elma. So, in some posts I say she, others he...force of habbit.:laugh:
HeatherStrella Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Judy, are you saying s/he is attached to females so s/he must be male? Not sure what you meant there. Just because the rest of the group went with female, I'm gonna say male...no reason other than that...
judygram Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 :laugh: Heather it seems that every time we have a poll to guess whether a grey is a male or female I pick female so I am sticking with that streak.:whistle: :lol:
Broomer Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 So far that's 3 for Male (Including my own vote ) and 7 for Female hehe :lol:
Tycos_mom Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I say female no doubt in my mind the long neck and lower set wings is a female everytime. Tyco was known as a boy til I got her and had her tested. Tyco or Ty is a boys name but she has had that name and knows it really well so I didn't change it. I wouldn't know what to change it to anyway. There aren't many girls names that sound like Tyco. when I got Fergie her name was Jack I hate the name Jack every Jack I know is a Jack-ass so I changed her name to Fergie. What kind of name is Jack for a girl anyway

Post edited by: Tycos_mom, at: 2008/09/11 07:13

I called her a boy for the first 6 or 7 months, and lengthened the name her original owner gave her to Nikodemus James. Then I was talked into a DNA test by my groomer. My little boy became my little girl . Of course she already knew how to say she was a good boy, but now she says she is a good girl too. My nephew was here when I got the DNA results, and he thought I should rename her Nikkarella :sick:. EDIT: Forgot to mention that the family has since gotten used to thinking of Nikko as a girl. It's now hard to believe I ever thought she was a boy!

Post edited by: spookyhurst, at: 2008/09/11 07:07
2Skittles4u Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 The eye looks more almond shaped than round (old wives tale?), plus Loki looks slender. I'll guess Pretty Girl. Linda
nims Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I'd say female she (i think) looks exactly like my little girl. Nims
casper Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I always get these wrong and Judy will be laughing at me again:laugh: I say MALE!
Broomer Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Hmmm, I think Loki was a bit excited this morning. {Feel-good-00020114}
judygram Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Oh boy, here we go again, Dan says male, wonder if his hat predicts that, I told him to throw that hat away, it does him no good. I won't laugh at you Caroline, even if you are right, but you know you aren't. {Feel-good-0002006E}
Suzzique Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Cute video of Loki! I still say she is a girl! :laugh:
2Skittles4u Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 What a little sweetheart! I just watched your videos and Loki is such a dainty eater! Too cute. Linda
pmaholm Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I'm tossing in my 2 cents for Girl. No real reason just the gut feeling. -Patrick
Tycos_mom Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 What a cutie you've got there she is the sweetest little girl I have ever seen:laugh:
