stclerk Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Hi everyone, Alfie is eating everything in his path he has his own mix (healthy veg fruit pulses some sunflower seed as treats) plus he is still being weaned and he wants our food as well, I mean everything!:ohmy: Apart from the foods well publicised not to give him such as avocado chocolate apple seeds:dry: Are there others I should not feed him. Carbonated & Caffeinated beverages should be avoided at all costs. Mushrooms have the potential of being toxic. Excessive amounts of Cooked and Raw Onions can be toxic to your bird. Dairy items are not digested in birds. A little cube of cheese as a treat in moderation is fine. Whole cloves of Garlic,a member had a grey die i believe after excessive garlic consumption.
