Baby Visit

Went to visit baby bird for the first time in two weeks - (s)he is about 7 weeks old now, and absolutely adorable! I've included one picture in my profile, but I'll try to attach some more here.

 

I won't be bringing home baby until he or she is fully weaned, but I am starting to get excited already! Of course my husband had to pick fun at the pictures just because baby bird doesn't have all of those grown-up feathers out of pins yet, but I think it's adorable

 

Don't have a name, but we're looking for one - husband is a jazz pianist, so the poor thing will probably end up with a jazzer name...Parker, Bird, Herbie, Ella....I'm just not sure yet.

 

Anyway, birdie's in great hands now at the breeders and is learning lots of new things. I'll update when I go for another visit - right now I'm immersing myself in bird literature, trying to be prepared!
