BlueCounty
Hi all, As I'm waiting for the arrival of Gizmo tonight, I'm thinking of the finer details and was wondering if the water I will be putting into his bowl should be really cold or room temperature? Also is tap water ok??
Raiderbabe
I use bottled water for Malibu. I buy the gallon jugs at Walmart and keep it in the refrigerator. So when he needs a drink I take it right out of there. I don't know if it should be that cold or not. I will curious to see what others write. Good luck with your baby. Today must be a big day for you!

nims
Hi, My CAG indy has mineral (bottled water) and I keep it at room temperature. My CAG doesnt like cold water! See what Gizmo prefers but I would definately recommend bottled or filtered water. Nims
Mistyparrot
I give Misty bottled water. In the morning he much prefers very warm water. Its the first thing he asks for. If it is too cold he nips my fingers holding his cup ! Steve n Misty
siobha9
I use well water from the tap. Whatever temperature you it give him at, within 30 minutes or so it will be room temperature anyway, so don't worry about it too much. In warmer weather Liath loves ice cubes floating in her drinking water, She dunks them and plays with them
judygram
I give well water also as I live in the country and we don't have city water that is clorinated and it is whatever temp the cold water is in the ground. I have given Josey ice cubes to play with also, she loves them.
Dave007
For many greys, another reason that room temperature water should be used is that many greys feeling that the water is very cold will immediately decide to take a bath in the cold water. Other greys won't do that but if they do, expect a messy, wet cage.
