HeatherStrella
I'm just curious about other people and their relationships with their AGs. I've had Harrison for exactly a year now. I never expected to be so "in love" as I am. When my alarm goes off in the morning, I'm excited to get up and go to him. When I get off of work, I can't wait to get home to see him. Even while I'm at work, I think about him and wonder what he's doing. I often call home to ask my husband how he's doing. Am I crazy? Do other people do this? I hope I haven't made a complete fool of myself by writing this...here's his online album from the first day we brought him home on April 6, 2006. http://imageevent.com/heatheranddenis/congoafricangrey Heather

HeatherStrella
Thanks, Monique. FairY, my husband is fine with it. But, I do bug him with my worrying. I worry that something will happen to me and then I don't know what will come of Harrison. He and my husband haven't bonded as much as he and I have. I'm 35, I know I shouldn't worry about that so much. shazbaby36, I love the cuddling. I used to kiss Harrison all the time. I would kiss him right on the beak. Then we took him to his 6 month check up and he had gram negative bacteria in his mouth..a lot of it. The vet saw me kissing him on the beak and said that it was really bad for humans to do that. She said to stop kissing him for 2 weeks and bring him back to check him again. If it was still bad, we'd go ahead and treat him. He was perfect when we brought him back. I was kind of embarrassed...I made him sick with all the "making out"...anyway, I kiss him on his head or his wing now. He still tries to kiss me on the mouth and tags me every once in a while...but no more kissing like before. Heather:side:
