judygram
If the vet demands it, don't you want to know for your own peace of mind? I wanted to know the sex of my grey so I could name it.
Broomer
Loki works for both Male and Female .. since in the Norse myth, Loki was able to change sex at will to cause mischief
judygram
You may have named him or her just right but if you do the DNA test then we can guess which sex Loki is, are you game!!!:cheer:

HeatherStrella
OMG!!!! Such a cutie!! S/he looks soooo much better and I'll bet s/he feels soooo much better! I just love how cuddly s/he looks. It makes me want another one!!! I gotta stop looking at your baby...lol. I say do the DNA test...think of it this way. Will you regret doing the DNA test? No. Will you regret not doing the DNA test? Maybe. Regardless, cherish your time with him/her while s/he's a baby...there's so much I wish I would've done with mine that I can't go back in time and do. HAVE FUN! Suzzique
Loki is so cute! I bet you can't wait to bring him home! I did Alex's dna test threw www.amrlabs.com it was only $20. We went with Alex for 2 reasons first because it can be for both him/her. Second as a tribute to the original Alex.

matt314159
$48 for a dna test? Holy crap I paid $18 through our avian vet, and I've seen mail kits between $20 and $25. All you send in is a little feather, not even a big one, it doesn't take much at all. They also certified her free from a whole list of diseases, one of which was chlamydia! Loki is sure getting big in a hurry, and prettier every time you post pics! Such a beautiful face! Broomer
Hmm, we'll have to take a look into the mail in ones. Our vet said it was $48 ... *shrugs* hehe.
Makena
I think we paid $70 for Mak's DNA test. It really varies from vet to vet.
