Just wondering something. Kim bought a boing when she was down in Niagra Falls. The diameter of the rope is 1 1/4" ... that a good size? It just seems big. I know Loki wont be able to use it for a while since he probably wont have the balance for it for a few months, but just thought I'd make sure that 1 1/4" isn't too big for his cute lil' CAG beak and such.

Thats probably the size of the one Josey has or maybe a teeny bit smaller like maybe 1 inch in diameter, thats a good size though Bryan and September 9th is one day closer:lol:

Sounds like it's about the same size as the one I have for Alex. I have one the same size for Martini even though he is smaller. They both love it and will hang upside down from it. :)

If you mean for perching, I was always told birds need several different sizes to perch on to help the tendons in their feet stay loose. Raz has that thick and some smaller, but his favorite perches are the ones sized best for a budgie. Weirdo.

Should be fine though in my opinion.

My Boings are all around an inch and a quarter diameter. Both my small conure and grey run up and down them with no problems.

LOL Missa - My Grey likes to hang out on a perch about 1/4 in diameter..... very strange. :-) But, he does sleep on a 1 inch perch most the time.

Ah, thanks everyone. Just seemed large. Mind you, I'm also looking at Loki while he's 11 weeks old .. so lots of his stuff seem really large for him.
