unfortunatly i live alone and work full time and i am petrified of her starting to pluck hence all the toys. i was also thinking of leaving her out her cage whilst i wasn't there but didn't get to be brave enough before my vet put a end to that idea when after the asking if tigerlily was kept in her cage whilst i wasn't home the vet replied "good" cause she'd get up to mischieve if let out;)

i've just started her on foraging toys and waiting for pay day to get her some more (having spent over £100 on toys last month! ) i'd seen a few parrot sitter dvd and weren't too sure they'd work but after reeding some stuff on here i'm more inclined to give them a go. she doesn't seems to pay too much attention to the tv and i rarely listen to the radio myself but tigerlily might take a liking to it lol

If you leave the radio or TV on for her it's at least background noise for her , in the wild silence is a big sign that a predator is around,so the same could easily apply to our domestic pets ;)
