So, I was wondering what everyones cage looks like, here's mine. Oh yeah, and that's tigerlily on top:)

Alex has a little bitty cage because it is used mostly just for him to sleep in. I do want to get him something bigger. Need to find a job first.

unfortunatly i live alone and work full time and i am petrified of her starting to pluck hence all the toys. i was also thinking of leaving her out her cage whilst i wasn't there but didn't get to be brave enough before my vet put a end to that idea when after the asking if tigerlily was kept in her cage whilst i wasn't home the vet replied "good" cause she'd get up to mischieve if let out;)

Yes she is safer in her cage,as long as she has plenty of things to occupy her time,foraging toys etc she will be fine,do you leave the TV or radio on for her ?

i've just started her on foraging toys and waiting for pay day to get her some more (having spent over £100 on toys last month!:unsure: ) i'd seen a few parrot sitter dvd and weren't too sure they'd work but after reeding some stuff on here i'm more inclined to give them a go. she doesn't seems to pay too much attention to the tv and i rarely listen to the radio myself but tigerlily might take a liking to it lol

If you leave the radio or TV on for her it's at least background noise for her , in the wild silence is a big sign that a predator is around,so the same could easily apply to our domestic pets
