New and with a question

I am so happy to find this lovely African Gray forum. I am trying to learn to navigate without looking too much like a newbie. I can't seem to upload a profile pic from my pictures on my pc or from photobucket. Is there a trick to this? Thanks for indulging the new kid.:blush:

Could you please be more specific as to what seems to be the problem with uploading your avatar?

 

If it's the right size and you go thru 'browse' it should upload it without any difficulty whatsoever.

I tried also and it wouldn't work for me. they were the same pics that I had loaded on another site. What are the pic size restrictions?

The avatar upload is rather automatic. If you go through browse and got a (for example) 80x80 pixels picture it will upload it w/o any problem.

 

Please let me know in which phase of the process things go wrong. Thx

Error occurred during the moving of the uploaded file.

 

The photo which I use in a lot of forums is only 42kb. I actually tried about 12 different pics just to see if any would load, but that message above popped up every time.:unsure:
