How much does your Cag weight?

Well I knew Roscoe was a fairly large Cag and I honestly got to say I have not weighed him in a week but I noticed everytime I hold him he gets heavier each day so I weighed him on my bird gram scale and he is 575 grms. Now he is only 10 weeks old so I am now really thinking he is going to fill out nicely when he is fully mature.

Here is an on going thread on members birds & their weight....Roscoe can lose up to 10 % of his weight once he fledges,so dont be too surprised

Dayo now weighs a consistent 430 grams.

 

When he was age 10 weeks to 16 weeks, he weighed between 515 to 527 grams.

 

It could be that Roscoe is going to be one very big boy. :-)

 

You will start seeing a normalized weight after he has fully weaned and around 24 weeks old eating a normal diet.

Yea I know Roscoes weight will level out when he gets weaned and I have been around alot of grey babies but he just seems really large to me and I sent the breeder photos and told her how big he is and she confirmed that he should be a good size grey being he is a male and his parents are a good size. No matter what size he is I love him in every way forever;)

One of my greys,Alfie is a big boy much larger than his brother Freddie,but both parents were big greys. He is my gentle giant wouldnt have him any other way
