Raiderbabe
Hey everyone I went to the store tonight and bought a whole bushel of collard greens. Can someone please tell me how to make them. I know someone already mentioned to steam them for 2-3 minutes or boil them for 5 minutes. Is this correct? And can they also just be served right off the bushel after rinsing off? Do they have to be cooked? Please help!
siobha9
I'm sorry but I have never heard of collard greens? That is another one of those foods that never made it to Ireland
danmcq
Yes, you can just rinse well and rip off a big leaf. They love Greens and usually raw. They love Collard, Mustard, Kale, Rapini etc. I personally never cook them.

Post edited by: danmcq, at: 2008/08/18 15:
