"Fuzzy" bird buddies

I bought a product called a bird buddy.... its essentially like a plush fuzzy stuffed animal that resembles an african grey.... its kinda like a coat.... the bird snuggles up to it if he's lonely, etc.... well he shredded the bottom of it.... i wonder if he swallowed any of it??....would this be something i have to worry about??? he eats thru everything else i buy???? helpppp.... thanks all!!!, rose

Rose, I think stuff they sell especially for Greys (or other animals) is not poisonous. I don't think this will harm him , but if it would put your mind to ease, why don't don't you ask the salesperson who sold you the bird buddy?

Also, even if your Grey ruined it he most likely did not eat it. He just tore it to shreds. I've never seen a bird eat something non-food (not like my dog who ate her bandanna once B) )
