I would have to say it depends on what he is having, some things Josey will gobble up and others she picks at just like children. She will usually gobble up any kind of rice or pasta and she loves sweet potatoes.

As Judy has said, i honestly think it depends on what they are eating,if mine have an egg rice i make for them their heads dont leave their bowls If your grey has access to food all day,pellets or seed they do tend to pick.Most greys will eat a large breakfast in the mornings after their night time sleep

My grey gobbles breakfast which is oatmeal and pick at her dinner (fresh fruit and veg) so a little bit of both!
