whiteflower23
hi. i got my grey a few days ago. he is still on two hand feedings per day. I have tried offering him fruit and veggies but wants nothing to do with them. hes a very fussy eater to begin with. is there something wrong with him? my friend had a grey and would literally GOBBLE up any food put in front of him. mine doesnt want anything to do with it. is it that hes too young? how long does your normally take to eat an entire "meal?" also at what age did you notice them actually enjoying table/ppl foods? judygram
We need to know how old your grey is but keep offering him these foods as he will start nibbling at them shortly.

judygram
He should be starting to nibble on the other foods, maybe try soaking the pellets in some apple juice to entice him to eat. LovemyGreys will have some advice for you when she logs in.
nims
Hi, When I first got my CAG at 12 weeks she was already weaned but you can try oatmeal in some hot water as CAG love something warm in their little bellies. You can add stuff to the oatmeal I finely crush pellets into mine as its a good way of getting them to get used to the taste (if they can taste?!) You are doing the right thing though so keep offering the food to them. Hope this helps! Nims
