Jacob Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Hi all Does anyone elses' CAG do chin ups? - that is holding onto the cage bars with their feet, sticking their beak through, opeing their wings a bit and pulling themselves up and down - Sort of like Ted Heath laughing, if anyone remembers that in the 1970s. It seems like Jacob's just asking for a kiss because when you walk over and kiss his beak, he does it even more & just looks pleased. It does look really odd though.
Trustdace Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Sounds like Jacob is having a little fun. When I approach my grey Congo it lowers its head and kind of like freezes and waits for me to pet its head. :side:
Acappella Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 My guy will do chin-ups from his swing, his dowel perch, an open door., usually during play sessions. I figure it's a way to stretch and strengthen muscles that don't get used because he doesn't fly.
Mansley Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 LOL yer my harry does this too its brillant to watch ill try the kissing thing thou so thanks for that tip.
