siobha9 Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Liath is 2 years old, and every single morning of those 2 years I have said "Good Morning" to her. I have said it in lots of different tones, in lots of different ways. I have said it 5 or 6 times each day. Approximante 3,500 times she has heard those 2 little words. And still she wouldnt say it back. Until today! I came downstairs this morning and my precious little girl said "Good Morrrrring!" Well:unsure: maybe after hearing it another 3,500 times she might get it right  !
lovemyGreys Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 {Feel-good-0002006E} Well practice makes perfect Siobhan ! Im sure Liath will have Good Morrrring of to a tee in no time after you have repeated it another 3500 times
siobha9 Posted July 29, 2008 Author Posted July 29, 2008 Mmmmm... it will only take her another 2 years:S  She's obviously not the brightest crayon in the pack!
lovemyGreys Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 {Feel-good-0002006E} I wouldnt be so sure on that, she knows how to play her mam /mom / mum
judygram Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Yep she sounds like a smart cookie to me, congrats on finally getting her to say those words but with her version of it, that will teach you to say it that many times, thanks for the laugh Siobhan on a Monday:lol:
siobha9 Posted July 29, 2008 Author Posted July 29, 2008 You are vey welcome Judy.... I think:dry:  !
Talon Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 That's funny! I spent 2 years saying "Good Morning" to Talon, and she finally said it last month, twice, and then never again!! :pinch:
siobha9 Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 Funny you should say that... Liath didnt say it this morning either... so that was it then? Once???? And not evening properly   ?? I may as well be talking to the birds.... oh wait... I was  !!
kittykittykitty Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Ya'll are too,too funny! It's the SMART ones that, as Frank Sinatra sang, "did it my (parrots') way!"
