shelly_quin
Hi all.... just a quick question lol... My parrot is 3 as i have said on my profile, and shes having her summer moult. All appeared to be normal, until i noticed that she had a little bald pink batch under her wing. I got my boyfriend to check this, and he says the area isn't cut or sore looking, and he thinks it might be just her normal moult. I look at all her feathers as and when they come out when changing her cage, and none of them have any blood. She doesnt make any unusual noises when grooming, just sets to it like she would usually when shes moulting. She's eating well, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, and drinking as usual. Pretty much she is the same as she always is. Just thought i would ask if this could possibly be plucking? i've read up about it a lot online, but cant make up my mind... I'll try get a picture of the bit, its prob about the shape of a 5p... maybe smaller :S:S:S
Trustdace
Yeah maybe a pic will help shelly. It doesn't sound like something to get alarmed about. Just continue to monitor your bird.
