Broomer
Anyone have one of these, or know someone who does? Shop eBay Canada Store - Maggie's Online Parrot Store:: Custom Designed Parrot Gyms, Custom Designed Parrot Swings Me and Kim are trying to find a perch for Loki before he gets home. Kim wants a natural wooden one and, well, neither of us want to spend 400+ dollars for one ... just yet  Any idea's on these "Not real wood, but indestructable and computer designed to center itself if the bird starts flapping"
danmcq
Well, I would forget about a "Computer Designed" self balancing perch and let the new parrot figure out how to adjust and maintain balance on a variety of unstable platforms just like they encounter everyday in the wild. This will help in building their balance, coordination and self confidence. :-)
Laurie
I'm with Dan on the balancing thing. My other 2 cents would be to advise not to spend much on anything except a good quality cage. Greys tend to abhor the outrageously expensive toys and accessories we buy, preferring instead to play with the cardboard tube that the toilet paper was on, and to perch anywhere they please.
