Trustdace
Man, after reading the peanut debate which offered a great wealth of knowledge, i've come to the conclusion I will not feed my grey peanuts, especially in the shell. Like lovemygreys says, they can contain spores of that mold. I offer my grey a seed mix called Vitaseed which contains peanuts in the shell. Congo has eaten only one peanut from this mix. I have immediately discarded this mix and will never offer it again. I want to tell the sick amazon owner to keep faith and I know that they will get through this. I owned an amazon before and I know how attached we get to our beloved pets. Every ounce of love and care we invest in them do not return empty. I agree that it is a high price to pay for the treat of a peanut. I know that everything we offer has a certain level of risk and common sense is used for discretion. In this case we have to go above and beyond and consider the exposure to the loved members of our family. It's better to be safe than sorry. That's my approach.
