I give my guys chicken bones... but only the big fat leg bone and only cooked ones. They love to suck out all the marrow. They must be getting some nutrition in it (You'll have to wait for the nutrition experts to tell you what sort of nutrition ;) ).

My kids think its cannabilism, but I keep reminding them we eat meat from mammals, and that doesnt make us cannabils!

The bone marrow is full of vitamins & iron ;) Be sure to supervise your grey when he is eating a chicken bone as the bone can splinter.

Siobhan mine have issues with me feeding the flock eggs :S

That's what we had for dinner tonight. I let Rikki chow down on the chicken carcass while it was still on the counter. She LOVES it. Poor Talon just got a wing.:S

They both love the bones, and do very well with them. B)

That would have been great, but she's away with one of her horses at camp! I can't believe the work I have to do while she's gone......:S I sure do miss her, and so does Talon & Rikki, they have no one to hang out with when I'm gone! :(

Mika picked out the chicken and the red peppers, loves to eat his (your) supper from a plate. Give him a plate of his own and he turns it over. LOL
