Carrie
Hello everyone, My name is Carrie and I have a 7 year old Arican grey called Herby. We live in Wales and Herby has a great welsh accent and speaks a few words of welsh (Cymraeg - Celtic language). He's loads of fun, never stops talking and has something to say to everyone who visits our home. I found this site as I'm looking for some advice with Herby as he's causing a few health problems with my family (topic posted in another section.) It's lovely to meet all of you, I can see at first glance you're all completely dedicated to your African Greys. I'll hopefully get to meet more of you soon:) Diolch yn fawr (thanks very much)
judygram
Hello Carrie and welcome to the family, so glad you have decided to join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Herby. I've read about some of your health problems in another thread and I hope with all the members here someone can provide a solution for your problem. I can tell that you really love this little guy and he is a part of your family now, greys have a tendency to do that to people. You might find some solutions in the many threads we have here so go thru as many as you can for lots of useful information and do ask questions you may have and we will do our best to find you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Herby you would like to share with us we would love to see him.

Carrie
Diolch pawb(Thanks everyone), So where in Wales do you all have your welsh roots from then? Nice to know everyone knows where Wales is, I wasn't sure where most people on the board were from. I am from North Wales and we have some amazing male voice choirs here. I can't sing to safe my life though! Herby does however whistle the Welsh national anthem, he must have the gene!
