Amber Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Today I noticed that Tuki has a tiny bit of red in one of her wing feathers! Does this mean anything is wrong, or can this just happen sometimes? :blink:

judygram Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Thats whats called the "red factor" in greys, it happens sometimes and a lot of the time it will be gone with the next molt. It means nothing is wrong, so don't worry about it, some people think of it as something special so count yourself lucky:cheer: B)

judygram Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 They can but most of the time it is just scattered and it can occur on any part of the body. We have a few threads that have some pictures of some greys with lots of red, just do a search to find them.
