cdelatorrejr
All, My baby TAG, Bobot, is about 8 1/2 weeks and is weaning himself early. Since this is my first baby grey, I need advice. He eats a good portion of his weaning pellets and table food (veggies, rice and pasta). I did notice he is slimming down but not too much. The only time he wants to be hand fed is in the morning or the evening. He only eats about 20cc - 30cc though. His last visit to the vet was last Monday and they say he's health and doing well. Any thoughts?

Post edited by: cdelatorrejr, at: 2008/07/14 23:
lovemyGreys
They all wean at different rates,if he is eating well then i wouldnt be overly worried.continue with the handfeed if possible id try for an evening one to ensure he has a full crop before bedtime.Keep an eye on his weight. You could try a little warm oatmeal etc.. in the mornings .
