smartDancer Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 If I wanted to buy a lot of seed at a time, could I put the bulk of it in the freezer so that it would last? This was an idea I heard but I don't know if that will kill the seed or possibly just not make it last anyway. Does anyone know?
M2MM Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 As long as the seed's shell is intact, freezing can do no harm. Use freezer bags or plastic tubs/jars and leave little or no air space. They will keep indefinitely in the freezer.
