Diapers?!

So, I was reading about how to potty train your Grey, and this weirdo web site came up....

 

Birdy Diapers....oh my.

 

Now, I'm still new to this, but ... these seem...you know, I just don't know what to think.

 

Is it Genius, or is it completely ridiculous?

A lot of people like to put them on their birds when they go out on the town so they don't get that lovely trail down the back but I would think a bird would be more comfortable at home not wearing them.

We bought Zahzu a flight suit - and she didn't like putting it on - I thought I could persist with trying, but on second thoughts felt it is quite unnatural so decided to give it up and work on toilet training her which has been pretty good - a few poo's have landed on us, but nothing serious!

Yea I could't imagine it would be fun for any bird.

I have one for my cockatoo and he doesn't mind it at all. It actually fits more comfortably than a harness does and he doesn't even notice at all. I only use it when I bring him down to my living room where I don't want him poopin on my couch.
