judygram
How someone could do that to this bird is appalling, some people can be so cruel but glad to see that it has a new beak now and able to eat, thanks for sharing that link with us Pchela. Pchela
It is appalling. Poachers suck IMHO. Why would somebody shoot an Eagle anyway? As a trophy? They don't get eaten do they? I just picture some asshole (pardon my language but that's what he certainly is) with a gun who sees this beautiful creature and can only think to destroy it.
lovemyGreys
 Yes poachers need the guns turned on them, see how they like it !! A great link, thanks for sharing it with us
BMustee
I'm with you guys...poachers are the worlds biggest douchebags! I got to work with a couple Bald Eagles before. They were both hit by cars and had to have wings amputated. They are such stunning creatures.
siobha9
How did they manage with only 1 wing? I assume they had to be kept in captivity after that, but even so it must have been hard to stop them falling etc.
BMustee
Hahaha, yes they were kept in captivity and used as "ambassador" animals. The male had cataracts starting and really didn't mind people working in his aviary near him...the female however hated people and would use the one huge wing to it's full advantage. She must have known she could at least get up to eye level to have that kind of attitude.
