Most don't like their wings touched and will bite.

cool. i am pretty suprised that he is now 8months old and still has the red factor... i am sure it is there to stay

If you're talking about some random red feathers scatered around his body, you'll have to wait until your bird has his first total molt. Most of the time, greys lose those scattered red feathers but some others may keep them because it's a permanent pigmentation.

At 8 months your grey probably has not hit his first molt...that takes place at a year old. My CAG started hers at 13 months old.
