HannibalTheCrow
My Timnah Edgar is 4 years old and we have had him for almost a year now and not a problem so far. But, today I noticed the tip of his beak is getting an almost light gray to white coloring to it. I know that Tim's beak are normally lighter colored than Congo's but I had never noticed this until today. Is there something to worry about? Should I take him to the Vet? He seems perfectly happy, playing and talking up a storm as usual so I am just concerned. Thanks so much for you input Hannibal & Edgar
Dave007
Post a picture. What's white to one person might be beige/tan/ straw color to others. All TAGs have a lighter upper beak.
HannibalTheCrow
I dont have a picture right now but it is just the very tip. Like the last 1/4" of the very tip is kind of milky white looking, but he acts fine, playing like always........who knows? thanks
BMustee
It could be the top layer flaking off. It will look a little discolored, but as soon as it comes off the color is back to normal...it's normal if that is what it is.
