lovemyGreys
Well im afraid it will have to get on your nerves john The majority of babies like to scratch in the bottom of the cage it is natural for them, most grow out of it eventually here is a link to regards playing with toys.. http://www.greyforums.net/forums/the-nursery/73105-teaching-your-baby-to-play.html
judygram
My Josey still does a little scratching from time to time and it is an attention getting thing, she wants me to come and get her, she isn't close enough I guess.
lovemyGreys
Yes i tend to agree judy, when there a little older than babies & continue to do it, im sure it's to get your attention. In the wild it's natural for greys to forage on the ground in flocks looking for food. Mansley
My grey does the same untill i go near the door of the cage then he is alert and ready to get out but be careful and dont let him assosiate scratching with getting your attention and being let out.
