Lupa
Hi All My CAG Shani has one dark Grey tail feather at the bottom of all her red feathers. Its really cute and makes her stand out and she seems to take special care when preening it, although thats probably just my imagination. I'm really hoping its not just there cause she is a baby and turns red with the next molt, Any one know if this is likely? Thanks Andrea
Tari
Sorry no idea. I know with red feather on the grey areas that they sometimes don't come back that color when they molt.
lovemyGreys
Andrea, nice to hear from you Babies red tail feathers are edged with grey/black & they are replaced with bright red feathers after the molt,if it is completely dark grey it may be replaced after a molt with a red one, just have to wait & see
