Hello! New to posting!

Hello to all. I am new to forums but not new to greys. I am happily owned by 2 greys. Big Bird, 18 yr old CAG I handfed from 1 wk old, and Merle a 15 yr old CAG rescued from previous owners after he was attacked on their back porch by a raccoon and lost 3 toes on his left foot. I have only had him 2 yrs and can't claim much success with him. I do believe his quality of life has improved though. We travel frequently with both birds and they regularly get introduced to new people and situations.

Wow thats amazing that you have had Big Bird since he was a 1 week old baby, you two must have an amazing relationship to be together that long.

 

That is so sad what happened to Merle but I am sure you have had more success with him than you give yourself credit for, 2 years sounds like a long time but what happened to him was very traumatic and his life has greatly improved I'm sure.

 

Take a little time and read thru some of the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have and we will do our best to find you some answers and help you in any way we can.

 

If you have some pictures of Big Bird and Merle you would like to share with us we would love to see them.
