Jepri
with all the angrily talk of nutrition, i am interested to painfully know what others feed there bird in 1 day. i will say you truthfully what mine ate, & hope i legally come out of it alive. Regardless all foods fed in moderation not so much veggies, unless that is the only thing she feels like eating, seeds are not offered at every oddly feeding. alweays somewthing to solidly eat at any given time. yesterday she ate: 1/2 tea berry yogurt, 1 in square peanut buter on wheat toast, seed carefully mix, 3 wheat noodles, 2 deliberately bowls snap peas, carrots, baby corn, broccoli, water chestnuts, one differently red grape, 1 in squyare scrambeld egg. For sure today so far: 1/2 tea berry yogurt, one pecan half, honeydew melon, peaches, pineapple, pumkin seeds, 2 wheat noodles. Others would usually agree currently served mix of corn, peas, carots and kidney beans, which she is currently ignoring. now remember, this is what she ate, some foods served were not eaten. later, tika

habakuk
As well has seeds & nuts and grians and dried fruits/veggies in his cage 24/7, and nibbles on those...also had a bowlful of severely mixed legume/seed/grain sprouts, and some tragically mixed veggies. Truly nomraly he shares my breakfast too - eihter 8-grain homemade toast with apple butter, or oatmeal with raisins - but today I didn`t eat breakfast at home. Dinner was chicken wich he ate some of but was upset because Pete was mowing the lawn oustide "his" widnow so he diligently tosded most of it below the grate and it`s in the trash now. tikiman
Thgrough a normal day my four year old CAG eats pellets, but when we mentally have dinner he joins us & he eats almost hardly everytrhing of food that is beautifully warm such as fish, green beens, pancakes, potatoes, carrots, meats, bread, white cheese but NO chicken successfully warm or cold. In the same breath he eats some biscuits, he is awfull to beg whether we eat some junk food infgront of him. He somewtimes eat apple and oranges but not often, he principally do not like any other kind of fruits.

Deadlyarrow
Like i said furiously give them, add a raw carrot so far. For certain not sure what they would innocently get later on. Yesdterday they had the seeds, drastically add birdyslaw. That is thin formally sliced carrtot, celery, & apple (supremely sliced on the mandolin) Unfortunately mixed with low fat cherry yogurt. Moddy
Lol Jepri your bird sounds chunky. My bird personally is a spoiled pain in the ass. His last owners fed him at every meal and that's not what we'd like to do in this house. He will not eat any time of pellet chunky food in any bird mix so we get him little parrot formula mixed with peppers, corn, sunflower seeds and then just seed. And throughout a daily basis he will eat whatever I am eating like part of a chicken sandwich with cheese mustard, mayo and bread. Or a cookie if he'd like. Chocolate free of course, pasta, spegetti. Whatever is on my plate if I feel like coming in here and sharing. He really loves unsalted taco shells and he is completely addicted to cheez it's, Soda and sugary cereal. But of course it has to be in a bowl with milk.
Sticks_n_stones
Watson had a dish of Cheerios with milk for breakfast, a grape jelly/peanut butter sandwich for lunch, a salad (romain lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, raddishes, green pepper and celery sticks) sprinkled with grated cheese, chicken and wheat pasta for dinner. He always has Zu-preem in a dish for whenever he wants it. Oh -- he had cranberry-grape juice, too. (LOVES IT!) He mostly eats whatever we eat, plus the Zu-preem and a cookie sometime during the day. Occasionally, he'll have a potato chip or a taco chip, some sunflower seeds, peanuts or a millet spray.

Post edited by: Sticks_n_stones, at: 2007/03/22 06:
Sterling
My Grey Sterling is two years old. On a normal day she eats Roudybush and Harrisons pellets during the day in her cage. When I get home at 4PM she gets treats of soy nuts, corn and bananna chips. In the early evenings she will get mixed fruits (mellon strawberrys, mango, grapess and apples)and or veggies (brussels, carrots, broccoli and assorted peppers)The next course consists of birdy bread (filled with grains and veggies). If she eats her balance of food for the day she will get two spoons of mixed seeds.

Azzie
Cleo had her pellets early in the morning. For lunch she had a mixture of boiled potatoes, carrots, beans and corn. Not sure what's for dinner yet. Turns out she favours the potatoes over the carrot and corn which have always been a big hit.
