Hello Everyone!

 

My name is Marti, and I have 2 "fids", a 3 year old CAG named Mac and a 12 year old cockatiel, Harley, that we rescued last summer. I am a HUGE animal lover, and our menagerie also includes 2 dachshunds, fish, a hamster and 4 sheep...they aren't allowed in the house, though

 

It's great to find this forum, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and viewing the pictures of your gorgeous birdy babies!

Have you had Mac since he was a baby? Most of us here purchased our greys as babies but some are rescues and rehomed ones, either way is a rewarding experience as I am sure Mac is to you.

 

Take some time and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have and we will do our best to find you some answers and help you in any way we can.

 

If you have some pictures of Mac you would like to share with us we would love to see him.

Thank you all for the nice welcome! I have had Mac since he was 4 months old and he will be 4 this September. My son bought him, then went off to college and now there is no question whose bird he is....Mom's!

 

Mac is one of the greatest blessings in my life. He filled the need I had to continue nurturing a "child" after mine got older. His playstand is in my kitchen and we spend all day together. I know you all can understand the bond!

 

As soon as I figure out how to work a digital camera, Mac will be posting his photos...he is indeed a handsome devil and will tell you so.

Mac is a lucky fella to have a Mom like you, and we understand the bond you have together all too well.

 

I hear ya, some of this new technology has be baffled too but you will soon get the hang of it so we can see for ourselves that Mac is indeed a handsome little devil;) and he isn't modest is he:laugh: :whistle: :lol:
