Strawberries??

Hi guys

 

Just wondering can I give Jessie strawberries to eat?

 

Reason I am asking I always by him fruit salad and there is always strawberries in there and I have been taking it out because I am not sure if he may have them.

You sure can...My Max Lubbers raspberrys..Strawberrys he has a bite then chucks um..He's not a fan on them...

Just watch the walls My guys love them but they are very messy and strawberry juice stains!

strawberries are recognized as having more vitamin C than some citrus fruits. They are also high in fiber, folate, potassium and antioxidants, A big thumbs up for our greys, they are also a natural means of reducing the chances of heart disease, high blood pressure & are great for us humans too

Yep they are great for us humans as they are loaded with vitamin C and other goodies but are low in calories as long as you keep the sugar away from them. I may have fresh ones from my own patch next year if I am lucky, hubby just planted them this year and I had to pick all the bloom off but next year they should bear fruit, yummy:laugh:

 

Josey doesn't much care for the ones I buy at the grocery store, like tomatoes they are bred to be hard so they will transport better but those homegrown will be tender and juicy, dripping down my chin:lol:

You can't beat homegrown Judy,tastes far better than shop brought plump & juicy
